The Denise Park practice is a world-renowned physiotherapy clinic providing
specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders to
both elite athletes and the general public.
The business was started in 1989 by Denise Park and has continued to expand and develop, currently offering a range of treatments delivered by highly skilled and experienced practitioners, including 3 physiotherapists and a remedial and sports masseur.

different therapists are available at different times of day.
regard our physiotherapists’ strong emphasis on accurate diagnosis and “hands-on” treatment
approaches, such as massage, mobilisations and manipulations, as key to our
addition, our physiotherapists utilise other treatment techniques, such as electrotherapies,
traction, acupuncture and exercises, in order to achieve the best possible outcomes. We are committed to
helping people reach their individual goals, and our physiotherapists and
dedicated remedial and sports masseur work closely together to ensure that all our clients receive the optimal therapy for their individual needs.
All our physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Some of our physiotherapists are trained in the use of acupuncture, and are members of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
A doctor’s referral is not required for an appointment, but if payment is going to be made by an insurance company, you may require permission from a doctor.
Please bring details of your health insurance policy on your first visit to make sure we comply with their terms of agreement. We are recognized by all the major health insurance companies and Denise Park and Russell Wrigley are BUPA accredited.
If your treatment is relating to an injury claim you are responsible for making the necessary arrangements regarding payment and are personally responsible for the settlement of the account.
Denise Park is the only physiotherapist to
receive accreditation from the World Mountain Running Association for her work
with fell and mountain runners, and was recognised as the world leading expert
in this field in 2011 when she was invited to write a chapter in a medical
textbook (Adventure and Extreme Sports Injuries). She was physiotherapist to the England Mountain Running Team for 8 years before attending events to treat athletes from around the world and has now worked with 10 World Champions in mountain running.
